Training Classes
‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors’ (NHN) is a career
support group meeting in the
Hackbarth Auditorium every Thursday at 1:00-2:30 p.m. Membership is free and is open to
anyone in career transition, including unemployed or underemployed individuals,
recent college graduates, non-profit and education career seekers, as well as
those reentering the job market, struggling small business owners and retirees
looking for part-time volunteer work. Attendance is open to all.
Computer Training
Classes: ‘Success Starts With You’: Learn the functions of a keyboard & word
processing, plus learn how to send an email or a resume successfully. Instructed by Denis Kallimanis. No registration is required. Seating will be filled first-come, first-serve. 1st and 3rd
Tuesday every month from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00
p.m.
‘Job
Readiness Workshop’ includes resume
writing, cover letters and thank you letters, soft skills, interviewing and
customer service. Monday, October 14th
and 28th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. No registration
required.
